1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup dates, chopped fine
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix other ingredients in order given. Line 13x9 inch pan with waxed paper and spread batter in it. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Remove cake from pan. Peel waxed paper & let cool. Cut into bars and roll in powdered sugar.
