I made breakfast for my mom and helped her do the cleaning. I also spent the day with a very kind old lady who lives across the street. She showed me how to bake gingerbread cookies!

I am sending out care packages to our troops, many of them do not have family to support them and miss the simple things from home. For many of them it's their first time away from home, and they feel very alone, especially this time of year. They take good care of us, I think we should do the same. Even a simple letter or words of encouragement mean the world to them, you can send individually, or get your community or church involved. If you have a friend or loved one serving, please let them know you care. If you don't there are a few places online, to send to a soldier you don't even know. Please let them know they are loved and missed :)

Just finished putting together a Christmas stocking for my daughters' best friend. This wonderful girl is unwanted by her family, and gets forgotten. So, since she's supposed to drop by on Christmas morning, she will find a stocking with her name on it under our tree, same as my girls, to remind her that she is loved.

to me act of kindness shouldn't only be for christmas but the whole year around. i work at a school and i find myself buy children clothes or food if the household needs. i have my own family to take care of but i enjoy doing for other also
