last week i went to my school at 5 and helped serve the spaghetti dinner for two hours. we had a lot of people come. it was really nerve-racking at first, but in the end it was a lot of fun! we got to say "Hi my name is Kiersten, and i will be your server tonight" and other little things. we got notepads to take down people's orders and it was SO much fun!

I work at my schools school store, and last week a person I don't usually hang out with, was working all alone during the busiest time in the morning. So i stepped in and helped her out. When the three other people who were SUPPOSED to be working finally showed up, i quietly left without saying much. My teacher who's in charge saw and thanked me afterwards. :)

in school, when my class has a subsitude, my friends and i ask her if she needs help of tells her what we normaly do in class if she or he does not know what we normaly do in class.we always are nice and play with atistic kids and make them feel special, not different. i personaly helped atistic kids in 2nd, 3rd, and that is it because teachers dont permit children in special program called excel be in it but i still play with them at recess. that us my random act of kindness toward others at shool!

Hi everyone! Just updating from my previous post about giving Skippy to a girl with a sore leg. So today, this girls parents came to my house and they were so grateful for what I did because it turns out that they can't even afford their own kangaroo so their daughter has to WALK to school every day, even with a sore leg. So I told them they could keep using Skippy until her leg gets better because we have two kangaroos so I can use the other one for the time being. And our other kangaroo has a joey so once it gets bigger we have decided to give it to their so they won't have to walk everwhere!I am so lucky to have never been in this situation so I am looking forward to giving back.

Even though acts of kindness are something that should be done all year and in many cases we all do , Thanksgiving/Christmas time bring out different feelings and one that I have been doing for many years, Each year our family goes back home in a small town in upper NY for Thanksgiving and there is a little 24 hour diner that have the same people working there for 15-20 years, Knowing they work hard dont have much and have always provided a service with a smile, I have always stopped in late at night, ordered just a couple items but make sure that gratitude are spread out for everyone that night. With a bill of $10 and tips of a $100, I have never told them my name,But the feeling cant be measured
