Every year, I always donate to the Salvation Army during the Christmas season and it always makes me feel much better to know that a person less fortunate than me is going to have a good Christmas. I always thought and cared for others that are not as lucky as I am and that they will never know who I am because the people at Salvation Army never tell who has donated. It brreaks my heart that everyday people, like myself, are homeless. Homelessness is a growing problem in this country, some people really don't care about the homeless; but those people, espically around Christmas time, they are a bunch of "Scrooge's" to the homeless during that time of year, otherwise, everything is just Statis Quo. I believe in all sorts of random acts of kindness, that all people are created equal; that there is no shame in being homeless. If you just do one random act of kindness; then you'll start seeing the real you on the inside.

My husband went to Hobbs, NM and helped his cousin fix his trailer house. The pipes were all busted from a recent freeze and the water heater neeeded repair. My husband's cousin didn't know how to fix it so my husband went to help. I am so proud of him!!

i need money for my son's first x-mass but i have always helped others i had 25 dollors for my son and my best friend wanted to go to arizona for x-mass and i gave the 25 to her family is the best presant you can give

I haven't yet, but on christmas, I will give some christmas presents to the Humane Society. I LOVE ANIMALS. I will give them some spray chese, a bag of cat treats, and a sort of squisy blue ball, for the dogs. I will proably get more later!(:!

i readto the orphans and i donate mony to africa so kids can have real cloths food and water i also adopted babys in africa and bought homes for them

A women I work with had a flat tire and did not have the money to get it fixed. I paid for the repair so she could get back and forth to work. She will pay me back when we get paid. I did not realize how much it touched her until I handed her the money and she started to cry.

A young couple with an infant were at a gas station. They only had a check and no cash. They were recently layed off work and had not thought past getting home to family, so had left and did not have any cash. The cashier refushed to let them pay for their gas with a check. I gave them all the cash I had on me. Not much but it filled their tank and bought some snacks. I feel fortunate that I was their and could help them in their plite. May God smile on every one this holiday season.

my class and i acturly did this we all donated lots of pjs to a pajama drive and we won we earned 41 pairs of pjs and it felt so good it just felt amasing to hear that were helping so many people.

I made cookies for people who could not afford them, and gave them out. I also went looking for homeless people, and called the salvation army, and made sure that they were taken care of.

This is one of my first times doing this.
