I didn't do it - it was done for/to me.

I'd been visiting my brother in hospital (heart problem) and trying to change a $20 so I'd have $2.75 bus fare. It was pouring, slashing rain and I couldn't find a coffee shop or convenience store in the unfamiliar city.

Desperate to catch the bus that would take me to the last ferry, I went into a high-end clothing store. The cashier was reluctant to make change, but appeared willing to do so. A different salesperson muttered "Just a minute" and went into the storeroom. He returned with two bus tickets and told me where to catch the bus.

I was thrilled to return home after a harrowing week with my brother. I wanted to return the kindness, so after googling the store and getting the person's name, I mailed the extra ticket along with a Starbucks giftcard. That's what the kindness of strangers does - it inspires kindness in return.

My family is giving their Christmas to total strangers (one family) who needs some help. Anything that we would have spent is going to this family. Also, to try to keep the young children believing, I am offering my services as a big fat guy in a red suit to as many families as I can fit in my schedule. Currently, I have 30 families that I am doing this for. Shhhh, don't say anything about this.

I am 14 years old. I like to help people when they need kindness throughout their day. Yesterday I decided to bring everybody's garbage cans back down their driveways. Some of the people I didn't even know! I didn't know where to put the trash bins either! I never got caught helping all these people. But the next day, I saw their smiles on their faces. I knew I had done the right thing by helping others. I was not expecting a "thank you" from anybody. I wanted to spead kindness!

When walking to a friends home for dinner last week, I notice a man laying on the ground shivering up against a buliding, I asked him if he could stand up! he replied no just leave me alone!so i started back to my friends house again, it bothered me that I had left that person like that,I ran back to him! I quickly removed my jacket, then covered the man over his thin shoulder frame gave him 20 dollars and told him I would be back in 1 hour.an hour had passed and true to my word I was back with this man, I gave him some leftovers, he ask why me..I said dont know! but I care.He gave me a hug and thank me..I cried that night, and vowed to never turn my back on anyone.

Oh my goodness! That is so kind and considerate. I am glad that there are people in the world like you who will not be mean or obnoxious to others. I don't know you but I bet you are an amazingly kind person.

I put all changes I received in the donation box at a super market yesterday, and I'm going to keep donating all changes I receive during this month. It's not a big money, but I hope it can help someboday.
