Have spent 2 months helping the Salvation Army Christmas programs to be a success. Toys, clothing, food baskets, feeding programs, kettles, Christmas angels tags, Hats and Mittens , jackets, and all sorts of help that is requested and fulfilled. I'm not a Salvationist, but see all the good they do, and wnat to help make the hoidays better for many.

I was in the drive thru at Starbucks. I went to give the cashier my debit card. He stated the guy in front of you paid for your coffee. I said oh that was very nice. It dawned on me one persons random act of kindness should be passed on. So I told the cashier to please pay for the persons order behind me. It didn't bother me that is was more than my order. I know that person will have a story to tell to co-workers, family and friends. Just as I did.

This is my 10 year old grand daughters random act of kindness. Instead of getting presents for her birthday in December, she asked her birthday guests to bring money to buy gift certificates from the local coffee shop. For a birthday activity, her mother drove my grand daughter and four friends to purchase the gift certificates from the local coffee shop; then around our small community randomly handing out the gifts. The girls loved it, and so do all the receivers.

I "adopted" a kid for Christmas,I found out what she wanted and she will get it, then I remembered how many people do this EVERY year, and I thought it would be good for me to spread the word. To make a child's Christmas bright is the best Christmas EVER. You too can adopt a kid for Christmas and help Santa.
