Watch as Parents Magazine shares tips to making kid-friendly Christmas ornaments. First, buy clear glass ornaments and remove the hanging hardware. Squeeze drops of paint inside the ornament and move it around. Repeat as many times as you like with different colors. When you're done, place the Christmas ornament upside down in a paper cup so excess paint will drip out. Next, replace the hanging hardware. To make stuffed holiday ornaments, gather materials such as paper, feathers and pom-poms, and stuff them inside the clear ornament. To make glittered polka dot handmade ornaments, stick adhesive back foamed dots around the clear ornament and dip them into glitter.
