I was at an urgent care and a lady came in for care. She was noticeably upset, wasn't feeling well and was told that she owed $190 from a previous visit that her insurance denied. She was distraught and said that maybe someone should just give her a gun and she would end it all. She had just lost her job and gave them all the cash she had towards the bill. I was compelled by God to help and when I was checking out I paid my copay and added an amount to be paid on the lady's bill. I asked the receptionist to tell her that it was paid but not to tell he my name. The receptionist was taken shocked that I did this. I just told her I was led to do this. It made an impression on the receptionist probably as much as on the lady. I slipped out the back door of the office and was on my way.

My 6 year old fell off a skateboard in the yard that caused a blood nose. My 13 year old carried her inside, quite a distance, into the house so I could help her. My 6 year old was so grateful she made her a thankyou card and gave up her weekly treat to give to her big sister. Wow, I thought, despite the fact they can argue like troopers, they actual share an unbreakable bond and when things go wrong, all that matters is each other. Maybe not a "random" act of kindness, but certainly the kindest thing I've seen in a long time. I love my girls and how beautiful it was to see their love for each other.

While indulging in a few lottery scratchers at the scratcher vending machine, a homeless man walked past me. He smiled and said, "Win some money for me, huh?" When I was through purchasing them, I saw him outside the door and I gave him one and told him good luck.

i saw a hurt child. I took them to the hospital and found his parents. He would have died if he was not at the hospital

me and my daughter take 2 angels off the angel tree every year and buy them things for christmas that makes my christmas special also i made gifts what everyone in my church i love giving to others thats what god wants us to do and thats what christmas about so try it and see what joy you get from it i cant explain the feeling

My daughter Amy and her best friend Mal turned 16 in the month of Dec. in 2007. They wanted to have a sweet 16 party w all their friends attending a dance at a nearby Hall. They requested that they bring only presents for a Toys for Tots fundraiser for their county. 150 friends brought enough toys to fill 2 pickup trucks, and to give children a joyous xmas that year. They got to get out of school and help distribute the toys. It was one of the most unselfish acts I had ever witnessed. I was soooo proud of those girls. And it was THEIR idea!
