I'm a receptionist at a real estate company and one day a girl called and asked if she could get her three kids on our Angel Tree. She is now a single mother, working two jobs and going to school and had nothing to give her kids for Christmas. This year we didn't have one so I got her name and number, children's ages and sizes and I convinced the agents i work with to donate gifts, money and gift cards and my husband did the same at his job and we gave that family a Christmas they won't forget. It was so great to see her face when we opened the trunks of the cars and gave her all of the stuff we collected. I told her to pay it forward and we'd be even. She was so great and so thankful that she cried. It was a good, good feeling to give for no reason other than just helping some one.

Thanks Carolyn, I'm glad you read my story. We got a thank you card from her today and she said she had a great Christmas dinner because of some of our Giant Eagle gift cards. Her boys were thrilled to have a Christmas this year and she is very grateful for our help. I'd love to do this again next year. and Yes, it was great to give!
