It was Christmas season and the postage rates dad been raised a penny. I stood in line at the Post Office and during my 20 minute wait, noticed that most of the customers were buying one cent stamps. Ask I approached the clerk, I asked how many stamps were on a sheet. When she replied 100, I told her I would take two sheets. I removed 20 stamps and inquired to the still long line as to how many people were in line for penny stamps. All most all raised their hands. I handed the last person in line the remaining stamps and said; "Take what you need and pass the rest forward. Merry Christmas".

my teacher for social stuadies said that a little boy was dying of cancer and was trying to get as many christmas cards he could this year and so i decided to get his address and send him a christmas card

Was visiting a local shop where I buy my fresh Lumpia today. I noticed when walking in tha someone had left a large set of keys in the door. I took them out and went inside and only the owner was there. I gave him the keys and he was very happy! He said "Oh my, Someone could have taken these keys and ruined me"! He thanked me over and over. I said You are very welcome and he said I was a very honest person and I said if we are honest to each other it comes back to us in a positive way and life is then good for us all!

every Christmas i get like 10 presents 4 my brother & sister. i never used to get them anything but i thought it would b a nice thing 2 do. and i make my mom and dad something, most of the time but sometimes i just buy them an ornament. it feels good knowing that im giving something and do a good thing!!! its not how much u pay 4 the present or how big it is, its the thought that counts!!!!!!!!:)

Last year my grandpa servived christmass the day or i think a mounth latter he had dide of patereotick cancer he was still sick on christmass well he layed in his bed as we cried and he clossed his eyes and then we knew he was going to die he fel asleep and never woke up his nane was Willum people called him Bill and its our firt christmass without him i wish he could come back!

My Great Uncle just died of type 4 cancer that was found all over his body and he had an anurism & is burst in his artiries 2 weeks ago. He died 1 month ago

This is the first year we are having without my grandpa too so I really know how you feel. Just know he is in a better place and we will be with them someday. God bless you and your family this holiday season. :)

A few days before Christmas last year I bought a massive money box and I haven't opened it since now to finally use my savings after almost a years time. I only have ?32.79, but I've gave ?2 to my brother (who manages to stretch any ammount of money he gets, which means he'll probably buy a few thinga with it) and I'm using the rest to buy presents for six of my best friends. If I have any money left over I'll be giving it to a charities.

I am a teacher at a junior high in south Texas and I wanted to share the things our students do during the holidays for our communtiy...
At Thanksgiving
-We collect change from the students and staff to purchase a turkey dinner for the needy families in our town...this year we collected enough money to buy 16 hams at our local Super S and we got 16 turkeys free when we purchased the hams.

At Christmas
-Each of our home rooms at the junior high adopt a child from the local family crisis center and purchase the items that are listed on their wish list. We usually adopt 15 individuals and send about $100.00 on each.
-We also have a can drive in December and donate all the goods to a local food bank.

We are a small school district but we try to teach our students the importance of giving back. Have a Merry Christmas.
