It wasnt me who did it,was a friend. It was a wet day at lunch time in the shopping centre and a old lady fell on the ground. I thought everyone would laugh as it was a rowdy bunch of boys but instead,two boys went over and bent down besode her to see if she was ok and helped her up.

I was driving home when I spotted an elderly lady, walking along the side of the road which didn't have a sidewalk. She was carrying many heavy grocery bags. Not usually one to pick up hitchikers or anyone with children in the car, my gut instinct told me what I had to do. I pulled over and asked if she needed a ride. She only spoke french, turns out I was in need of practise, but was able to communicate just the same. I drove her about another 15 min to her little house off the main road, into a heavily wooded area. As it turned out she was now living alone, widowed and one son had died during the war. The other son had moved to a different city across the country. She was thankful and I was thankful for being able to help :)

Last X-mas we saw 3 kids, and they were begging for food, and we took them to a simple fast food chain and we fed them. We saw their happy smiles, and we felt so good, like we were heroes. Their smiles completed our Christmas. :)

I managed to get a whole set of this year's hottest toy at normal retail price. Many people were buying them up and selling them at 10 times the price. My son found out that a family friend who had recently had a stillborn child, needed these toys for her daughter for Christmas, but the prices were so high. So we gave the whole set to her for free so her daughter would have a good Christmas. It made all our hearts happy.

My last story was my focus because are young people don't get enough credit.
My husband & I sponsored a magic show
We donated bottles to a youth group locally collecting
My boy's donated food to food bank
and I hope we will found more opportunity's to live in the spirit of the season.

A GROUP OF TEENAGERS randomly help stuck cars for more than two hour after a snow fall caused the city street to became slicker than a skating rink. Here in Calgary there was many busses, trucks, and vehicles blocking streets intercessions. This morning there was many down light pole from accidents. Calgarians should be climatized to icy roads after warm days snow fall. However, there seemed to be few sanders and few city works to be found.

I am sorry you are lonely. Your random act of kindness is a really good place to start feeling better about things though. It seems when we do something to care for others, we begin to feel less alone, we realize we are connected to others in ways we hadn't thought of. God's spirit is with us always and the more we offer ourselves to bring good things to others, the more aware we are of the greater good of God in the world. He loves us and lets us do what we want, cause he doesn't want puppets (He wants love), but when we do what He wants (spread the love), we are better able to realize He is with us. To have a friend, we need to BE a friend. Hope you find many friends.
