One year a 3 days before Thanksgiving my mother and I was ouside of Belk ringing the bell for the salvation army when this car came up to us. Inside the car was a man his wife and their child. The man got out of the car and came up to us and asked us if the salvation army would buy them a turkey for thanksgving cause they had no money. My mom told them to come back the next day and she would let him know. Well my mom called her boss and asked her about it. Her boss told her then that they didnt have the funds to help them out. Well the next day they came back and when we told them what was said he started to cry. My mom then told him not to worry because we would buy one for them. The guy then was very happy and kept saying thank you. My mom told me to go with them and buy them a big turkey. We went to Lowes Food and I bought a big turkey for them and he told me then that he would never forget us and that he will always be thankful for what we did for him and his family.

I just wish that more people would offer to help people out when they need it. I will always remember that guy and his family.

I work at walmart now and just the other day a lady was at my checkout and she was short a dollar. She had 2 lil boys (age 2 and 4) and was searching her pockets and her purse. When the lady behind her asked me how much she needed and I told her it was a dollar she then reached into her purse and pulled out a dollar and handed it to the lady in front. She smiled and said thank you very much and handed me the dollar. She then offered the lady behind her what little change she had and that lady said no and not to worry about it.

When I saw this I thought 'if more people was like her the world would be a better place' and I smiled.

Thank you, for sharing your story. I've been down and not really in the Christmas spirit this year. To me it seems that way to many people lost the true meaning of Chritmas, but you story has renew my faith that there are people still out there, and know what the TRUE MEANING OF Christmas is...

It's this person who died in a school shooting and she thought that being kind would change the world and she would make a chain reaction of anti bullying and now its in schools all in the USA. google it for more info.

at my school a lot of bullying mess has been going around like color,weight,hieght its just stupid and i try to comfort thoose who are getting bullied and i pray for for them. and im encouraging you to stand up to bullying the right way :)

This past year My Fiance and I have sheltered over 50 Children under the Social services.We decided to get each and everyone one of them a present even though we do not have a big budget, we decided to Still include everyone who has been in our lives, Cause those children have filled the void in our lives. Nothing is better than a childs love and hearing the words " Mom and Dad" and have the joy of spending time with those children are OUR Christmas Gifts :'D

I have become friends with an elderly couple at my church. The older man has leukemia and is not able to get out much. When we had a xmas banquet at church I had a video guy tape people from church giving him a Merry Xmas greeting. When he saw the video he was so excited. His wife was very grateful.

This was a kindness done to me yesterday. I was in the grocery store trying to decide what to spend my last $5 on. When I finally got to the checkout with my few purchases the gentleman in front of me whispered something to the clerk then left. As I offered my $5 to the clerk he said the man in front of me had paid for my groceries. There really are kind people in the world. I have no idea how this living angel knew I needed the help. All I can say is a heartfelt thank you.

Ive had a similar thing happen to me and my dad when someone he sort of knew from work(an older couple), paid for our dinner while we were out to eat. I couldnt say thank you enough even though we did not need them to pay for us. I was a very kind act
