Random Acts Of Kindness
12/6/2011 6:15:08 AM. - Patty - Tinley Park, IL
At three minutes to 9AM the phone rang and the voice said "aren't you supposed to be here to give a talk". No one had asked or scheduled me. The voice said we have 51 seniors here waiting for a talk on senior orthopedic problems. With a wet head of hair, no make up I gathered my computer, projector and "messy me" and sped 9 miles to present my talk. The people we very grateful but I felt wonderful being able to help and use the talent God gave me.

My class is doing a fundraiser for the famine in Somalia. We are trying to let other people know about it. We didn't even know about it until we read the article in Time For Kids. We wrote letters to many people. The people of Somalia need your help.

This year, my mom gave me twenty-five dollars to spend on random acts of kindness. Recently, I decided to spend some of it on making a Christmas card for my drama teacher and donating some clothes to a church drive. But they don't have to cost money for them to make a difference. I also help out at my church by being an alter minister and an usher. Go make someones life special!!!
12/5/2011 8:35:19 PM - Regina - Kentucky
That's great Livi! I think that donating to churchs is a good way to know that the items are going to good use. Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas!

Ok, so I have no dollars lost, because the socks were on sale AND we had a coupon, and then i found five dollars and chose to put half in my envelope. Now what?
12/16/2011 5:16:44 PM - Alexandria - California

While my good friend Smalls was preparing for an exam he needs to pass, Wills and I continuously called him to ensure he was studying for his "A" counting examine. Willy and I also helped him study by teaching him how to count to 100 alot faster by counting in multiples of "5".
