Random Acts Of Kindness
ID: 1849 12/24/2010 6:21:42 AM - Matjaz - Slovenia Well...it was sometime around summer and I took a train to go to my girlfrend who lives far away^^ ID: 1848 12/24/2010 6:20:44 AM. - sala - china merry christmas ID: 1847 12/24/2010 6:09:52 AM - Donna - Florida Two days ago I was walking into a McDonalds and I saw a lady staning alone with a very sad look on her face. I asked her if she was ok, and she didn't answer. I walked closer and put my hand on her shoulder and asked again, and she said "don't touch me" and started crying. She started to walk away, and I noticed that she was carrying a bag and might be homeless, so I called out to her "do you need some money?". She stopped and turned around and looked at me. I walked up to her and gave her $10, and she fell to the ground crying. She shared her story with me about being homeless and having no one at the holdiays, etc. I could tell that she had mental illness by the things she said. I ended up hugging her and we had a moment of just silence. Then I noticed she wasn't wearing any shoes. I asked her if she had shoes and she said no. So I took off my tennis shoes and gave them to her. At first she refused them, but I insisted. Then she said she had been praying to Jesus for a miracle, and that I was her angel. It was really touching. 12/24/2010 10:20:48 AM - Alia - USA I think you did a good job. 12/24/2010 10:41:28 AM - Darrell - Iowa Man, that was so touching! What a wonderful act of kindness to do that.
